Taylor Root is delighted to be working with a leading international law firm seeking a talented Associate or Senior Associate to join its highly regarded Derivatives & Structured Products team in London.


This is an excellent opportunity to join a market-leading finance practice advising major investment banks, financial institutions, asset managers, funds, corporates and other sophisticated market participants on complex cross-border transactions. The team is recognised for its expertise across a broad range of derivatives, structured products and financing arrangements, with a strong reputation for delivering commercially focused advice on cutting-edge matters


The Role

You will advise on a wide variety of matters, including:

  • OTC derivatives across multiple asset classes
  • ISDA documentation and related trading agreements
  • Structured notes and structured products transactions
  • Hedging arrangements linked to acquisition, project and structured finance transactions
  • Securities financing and repo transactions
  • Regulatory developments affecting derivatives markets
  • Complex cross-border financing and capital markets transactions


About You

  • England & Wales qualified solicitor (or equivalent common law qualification)
  • 2+ years' PQE gained at a recognised derivatives, structured products or financial markets practice
  • Strong experience advising on derivatives documentation and transactions
  • Excellent technical drafting and analytical skills
  • Ability to manage client relationships and work effectively within international teams
  • Commercially minded with a proactive and collaborative approach
