Electrical Supervisor – Rail Industry

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Electrical Supervisor to join a long-term, ongoing rail project based in Glasgow.
This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled electrical professional with rail experience to secure a long-term position working on a major project.
The Role
As Electrical Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing electrical works on site, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to the required standards.
Key responsibilities:
- Supervising electrical teams and subcontractors on site
- Coordinating daily electrical activities and resources
- Ensuring works are completed in accordance with drawings, specifications and programmes
- Maintaining high standards of health & safety and quality
- Liaising with site management, engineers and project teams
- Carrying out site inspections and monitoring progress
- Supporting the delivery of electrical installations within a rail environment
- Ensuring all works comply with relevant rail and electrical standards
Requirements
- Previous experience as an Electrical Supervisor / Electrical Chargehand / Electrical Site Supervisor
- Experience working within the rail industry
- Strong understanding of electrical installation and site supervision
- Good knowledge of health & safety requirements
- Ability to manage and coordinate electrical teams
- PTS (Personal Track Safety) – highly desirable
- Relevant electrical qualifications preferred
- SSSTS/SMSTS or equivalent supervisory qualification advantageous
