Job description

As a Class 1 Driver, youll take on straightforward trunking and bay-to-bay work with no handball, flexible shift choices and excellent daily rates.

Whats in it for you Excellent daily rates from £210 to £250 depending on shift Minimum six weeks of work during a busy seasonal period Choice of day, afternoon and night work Flexibility to work five or six days per week or select ad hoc shifts No handball straightforward trunking and bay-to-bay work No driving assessment required Your responsibilities as Class 1 Driver Complete trunking work across the depot and hub network Carry out bay-to-bay deliveries efficiently and safely Start and finish allocated work from the Burton depot Complete required vehicle and journey checks Follow drivers hours, tachograph and road transport regulations Ensure loads and associated documentation are handled correctly throughout each journey What were looking for in a Class 1 Driver Valid Category CE driving licence (Class 1 licence) At least 90 days of recent relevant driving completed Valid Driver CPC qualification Current digital tachograph card Good understanding of drivers hours and road transport regulations Working hours: Day shifts start between 04:00 and 15:59, while night shifts start between 16:00 and 03:59.

Day, afternoon and night work is available, with the option to work five or six days per week or ad hoc shifts.
