A temporary opportunity is available for an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver to join a road freight operation in Tamworth. This role offers reliable daytime work, a minimum of 8 hours pay and weekly payment every Wednesday.

Key responsibilities

Driving an HGV Class 2 vehicle safely and responsibly
Completing deliveries and collections in line with planned schedules
Operating curtainside vehicles and securing loads appropriately
Carrying out vehicle checks and reporting any defects
Completing delivery paperwork and maintaining accurate records
Providing professional service at collection and delivery points
Following road safety, transport and site procedures

Skills and qualifications

Current HGV Class 2 driving entitlement
Valid Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC)
Digital tachograph card
Experience driving curtainsider vehicles
Good knowledge of vehicle safety and load security
Reliable, punctual and professional approach
Ability to work independently and follow delivery instructions
Good communication skills
