Female* Specialist Care Support Worker
Location: Winchester Service: Specialist Care
Shifts Available:
- Full time - Weekdays (7am - 5pm)
- Additional hours available on an overtime bank basis.
We are looking for a compassionate, reliable, and experienced Female Support Worker to join our Specialist Care team in Winchester. In this rewarding role, you will provide person-centred care to a young adult with complex needs, supporting them to lead independent, fulfilling, and meaningful lives. Please note: A full, clean UK driving licence is essential.

About the Role
No two days are the same your role will include:
- Supporting with personal care and daily living tasks
- Assisting with cooking, cleaning, and household duties
- Supporting attendance at appointments and community activities
- Encouraging independence, confidence, and emotional wellbeing
- Supporting hobbies and interests (e.g. Cooking, arts & crafts, music, gaming, dancing)
- Working with individuals with autism, learning disabilities, mental health needs, and complex care needs
- Using positive behaviour support and de-escalation techniques
- Working in environments where pets (including dogs) may be present
About You
We are looking for someone who is:
- A female support worker
- Experienced in supporting individuals with complex needs
- Calm, resilient, and confident in challenging situations
- Passionate about person-centred care
- Supportive of independence and personal development
- Willing to learn and develop professionally
- Comfortable working in homes with pets
- A full UK driving licence holder (essential)
