Vice President, Investment Banking

Advise clients on project finance and M&A transactions across the energy transition sector.

The opportunity

Our client is a specialist energy transition advisory firm seeking a Vice President, Investment Banking based in London. The role will lead and support complex transactions across project finance and M&A, working closely with clients and senior stakeholders throughout the transaction lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Advise clients on project finance and M&A transactions across the energy transition sector.
• Lead transaction execution from origination through financial close or completion.
• Develop financial models, valuation analyses, and transaction materials.
• Manage due diligence, transaction processes, and external advisers.
• Prepare presentations, investment memoranda, and client-facing materials.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients, investors, lenders, and other stakeholders.
• Support business development and origination activities.

Requirements

• 5–8 years of investment banking or corporate finance experience.
• Strong experience in project finance advisory and M&A.
• Previous experience in energy transition, renewable energy, or infrastructure preferred.
• Strong financial modelling and analytical skills.
• Excellent client management, communication, and negotiation abilities.
• Commercially minded, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple transactions.
