HGV Class 1 Driver

Job description

Looking for a reliable Class 1 HGV Driver to join a busy operation based in Swindon.

The Role

• Trunking deliveries between company sites
• Typically 2-3 drops per shift
• Cargo loaded by FLT operators - no heavy handball involved
• Drivers simply position the vehicle for loading and unloading
• Late shift: 2:30pm start
• 10-12 hour shifts

What We're Looking For

• Valid Class 1 (C+E) licence
• Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
• Newly passed drivers welcome
• Reliable, professional attitude with a strong focus on safety

Pay & Benefits

• £15.71 per hour PAYE
• Overtime paid after 45 hours
• Enhanced rates for weekend work
• Regular, ongoing work
