About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Manager – Financial Crime Operations to lead and oversee financial crime activities across Transaction Screening, Transaction Monitoring, KYC Screening, Fraud Investigations and Financial Crime Reporting.

The role will be responsible for ensuring effective financial crime controls, managing operational teams, overseeing complex investigations and maintaining compliance with applicable UK regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee Financial Crime Operations across Transaction Monitoring, Transaction Screening, KYC, Sanctions and Fraud.
  • Manage and develop FCO teams, ensuring high standards of quality, productivity and risk management.
  • Review and provide oversight on complex and high-risk transactions and investigations.
  • Ensure effective identification, escalation and reporting of unusual and suspicious activity.
  • Implement and maintain a robust risk-based approach to AML and financial crime controls.
  • Ensure processes and controls remain aligned with FCA, PRA, ICO and other applicable regulatory requirements.
  • Work closely with Compliance, Risk, Operations and senior stakeholders on financial crime matters.
  • Monitor operational performance, identify control gaps and drive continuous improvements.
  • Provide management information and reporting on financial crime risks, trends and operational performance.
