Human Resources Coordinator

MADE Careers is looking for a Human Resources Coordinator

Job description

MADE Careers is working with a leading international architecture and design practice looking to appoint a Human Resources Coordinator to join its London team.

This is a broad HR role sitting across both Talent Acquisition and wider HR operations, with around 60% of the position focused on recruitment coordination and 40% supporting HR programmes, systems and employee initiatives.

Working closely with the international HR team, you’ll support everything from interviews, offers and onboarding through to employee engagement, training, reporting and HR projects across the wider business.

It’s a great opportunity for someone with a couple of years’ HR experience who wants broader exposure within a large international design environment and plenty of scope to develop.

The Role

You’ll act as an important point of coordination between candidates, employees, hiring managers and the wider HR team, helping ensure recruitment and HR processes run efficiently across the London studio and international business.

The role is particularly suited to someone incredibly organised and people focused who enjoys the pace of recruitment but wants to continue developing across the wider HR function.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate interviews across hiring managers, candidates and international teams
  • Manage candidate communications, interview confirmations and follow-ups
  • Support the recruitment process from role approval through to offer acceptance
  • Prepare offer documentation and coordinate pre employment requirements
  • Support background and reference checks
  • Maintain accurate candidate information within the ATS
  • Coordinate onboarding and the new starter experience
  • Support recruitment reporting, hiring events and employer branding activity
  • Assist with employee engagement and recognition initiatives
  • Coordinate training and development activities
  • Support performance reviews, employee surveys and internal communications
  • Maintain HR systems, employee records and documentation
  • Assist with HR reporting, audits and data analysis
  • Support the implementation of HR policies and processes across international locations
  • Work with the wider HR team on projects and process improvements

Requirements

  • Around 2 - 4 years’ experience within HR, Talent Acquisition coordination or a similar people focused role
  • Previous experience supporting recruitment processes from interview through to onboarding
  • Excellent organisation and attention to detail
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Confident coordinating multiple people, priorities and deadlines
  • Experience using HRIS and/or ATS platforms
  • Good Microsoft Office skills
  • Comfortable working with confidential and sensitive information
  • A proactive and collaborative approach
  • Degree in HR, Business Administration or a related subject, or equivalent professional experience

Desirable Experience

  • Experience within architecture, design or the wider built environment
  • Exposure to international HR operations
  • Good understanding of UK employment practices and HR requirements
  • HR reporting and data analysis experience
  • CIPD qualification or currently working towards one
  • Additional European language skills, particularly Spanish

Benefits

  • Competitive salary + benefits
  • Hybrid working
  • International working environment
  • Exposure across both Talent Acquisition and broader HR
  • Clear opportunities for professional development and progression
  • Opportunity to work closely with an established international HR team

Why This Role

This is a particularly good step for an HR Coordinator who doesn’t want to become boxed into recruitment administration.

You’ll still have plenty of involvement in hiring and candidate experience, but with genuine exposure across HR operations, employee engagement, learning and development, systems and international HR projects.

For someone at the earlier stages of their HR career, there’s a lot here to learn from and build on within a major international architecture and design practice.

Apply

We’d be keen to hear from HR and Talent Acquisition Coordinators with around 2 - 4 years’ experience, particularly those already working within architecture, design or another professional creative environment.
