Pay: £18 per hour

This established logistics business is based in Pershore, Worcestershire, and operates within the road transport and logistics sector. The role supports the reliable movement and delivery of goods, with a focus on practical, customer-facing transport services across local and regional routes.

The role

We are looking for an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver to complete night-time deliveries from the Pershore area. You will be responsible for carrying out multi-drop routes safely and efficiently, while providing a professional service at each delivery point.

Key responsibilities

• Driving an HGV Class 2 vehicle on night shifts
• Completing multi-drop deliveries, including more than 10 drops per route
• Delivering to retail stores
• Handling chilled or temperature-controlled freight
• Loading and unloading goods using handball methods
• Operating a tail lift safely
• Completing delivery paperwork and following site procedures
• Carrying out vehicle checks and reporting any issues promptly
• Working safely and responsibly at all times

Skills and qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 2 driving licence
• Previous experience in fridge work or temperature-controlled deliveries
• Experience completing multi-drop routes
• Retail store delivery experience
• Confident with handball and tail-lift operations
• Good knowledge of safe loading and unloading practices
• Reliable, punctual and able to work independently at night
• Professional communication skills and a safety-conscious approach
