Class 1 Driver Manchester

Location: Manchester, M26 1GG

Salary: Up to £40,000 per annum

Hours: 45 hours per week

Working Pattern: 5-day week, day shifts

Position: Class 1 Driver

Join Our TeamWe are looking for a reliable and experienced Class 1 Driver to join our Manchester Branch.

This is a full-time, day-shift role offering the opportunity to become part of a busy and supportive Warehouse and Delivery team.

Your Main ResponsibilitiesAs a Class 1 Driver, you will be responsible for:

• Delivering customer orders safely, on time and to the required quality standards.
• Completing multiple-drop deliveries.
• Breaking down palletised deliveries for customers, including handballing.
• Packing and loading your vehicle safely and efficiently.
• Ensuring vehicles and loads are safe, secure and in an operational condition.
• Operating safely within the warehouse and fleet environment.
• Operating a forklift full training will be provided.
• Completing the required administration associated with warehouse and delivery operations.
• Working closely with the team to meet daily Warehouse and Delivery schedules.
• Supporting the Warehouse team as required.

• A qualified Class 1 Driver with the appropriate licence.
• Reliable, punctual and professional.
• Safety-focused and committed to following company procedures.
• Customer-focused with good communication skills.
• Comfortable carrying out manual handling and handballing duties.
• Able to work effectively as part of a team.
• Flexible and willing to support the wider Warehouse operation when required.
