HGV CLASS 2 DRIVER DUSTCART / STAINES

We are recruiting experienced HGV Class 2 (Category C) Dustcart Drivers for a waste collection operation based in Staines. This role involves both driving and assisting with loading, working as part of a team on daily collection routes.

This is an ongoing opportunity offering consistent weekday work with optional Saturdays. Immediate starts available.

• Role: HGV Class 2 Driver (Dustcart)
• Contract Type: Temporary / Ongoing
• Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday (Saturday optional)
• Start Time: 05:30 AM (06:00 AM on the road)
• Finish Time: Around 14:00 (earlier finishes possible depending on route)

PAY

Standard Rate Weekday (MonFri)

• Basic Hourly Rate: £18.00
• Holiday Pay (Rolled Up): £2.51
• Total Hourly Pay (Inclusive): £20.51
• Overtime: Not applicable
• Pay Frequency: Weekly

RESPONSIBILITIES / DUTIES

• Driving HGV Class 2 dustcart vehicles
• Assisting with loading bins and waste collection
• Working as part of a crew on planned routes
• Ensuring safe and efficient collection of waste
• Conducting daily vehicle checks
• Following health & safety procedures at all times

EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

• Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) Licence
• Valid CPC Card
• Digital Tachograph Card
• Maximum 6 penalty points (no major endorsements)
• Previous dustcart driving experience essential
• Physically fit and comfortable with manual work
• Reliable, punctual and team-focused

COMPLIANCE REQUIREMENTS

• Must complete a driving assessment (approx. 45 minutes)
• Induction required prior to starting
• Must sign health & safety documentation before first shift
