Counterbalance and Reach FLT driver

Pay: £14p/h

Hours: Monday - Thursday 7AM - 5PM Friday 7AM - 3.PM

Location: Huddersfield

Job Type: Temporary - Ongoing, minimum 3 months. Can lead to full time permanent job.

Stafflex are actively recruiting for an FLT Driver to join our client, a well-established UK-based formulation plant with over 30 years' experience in the manufacture of chemicals and plant protection products.

We're looking for a reliable, hardworking and motivated individual who is comfortable with physical work and holds a valid FLT licence. If you're looking for a hands-on role within a busy production environment, apply today with your CV!

Duties:

• Move stock efficiently between warehouse and production areas to support daily requirements.
• Load and unload deliveries safely and efficiently.
• Manage stock rotation using FIFO (First In, First Out) principles.
• Prepare pallets for storage and despatch, including wrapping and labelling.
• Keep the warehouse and surrounding areas clean, tidy and safe.
• Follow company procedures, health & safety requirements and relevant legislation.
• Carry out routine checks to ensure warehouse equipment is safe and fit for use.
• Provide general support to the management team when required.
• Assist with other reasonable warehouse duties as needed.

Essential qualities:

• Counterbalance and Reach FLT License - valid and in date.
• Candidates should be flexible, have excellent communication skills and demonstrate a positive attitude towards work and learning.
