M&A Integration Consultant / Lead

Valexis supports PE firms and portfolio companies through post-acquisition integration, helping turn transaction logic and synergy assumptions into an operating business that actually works.

We're looking for experienced M&A Integration professionals who can combine strategic thinking with hands-on execution.

What you'll do

Depending on the transaction, you'll help lead integration from initial planning through execution and value realisation.

That can include:

• Translating deal rationale into a practical integration thesis and plan
• Establishing the Integration Management Office and governance
• Leading workstreams across operations, commercial, technology, finance, people and organisation
• Defining Day 1, Day 30, Day 100 and longer-term integration priorities
• Identifying, validating and tracking synergies
• Resolving difficult cross-business dependencies and decisions
• Managing integration risks without losing momentum
• Giving management teams, Boards and PE sponsors clear evidence of progress and value delivered

What we're looking for

We're interested in people who have experienced the reality of integration rather than simply studied the methodology.

You'll understand that successful integration involves spreadsheets and plans — but also politics, culture, customers, systems, difficult decisions and relentless prioritisation.

You'll ideally bring:

• Significant PMI or M&A transformation experience
• Strong commercial and operational judgement
• Experience of synergy identification and realisation
• Confidence working across functional boundaries
• The ability to operate with senior management and investors
• Enough pragmatism to adapt the integration playbook when reality intervenes

PE-backed experience is particularly attractive.
