About Glaicier

Glaicier is a UK Microsoft 365 and Azure consultancy helping organisations migrate, adopt, manage and transform their technology investments. Our proprietary platform, Novalysis, surfaces information from across a customer's M365 tenant to support the review of workloads, licensing, users and security. Customers use it to inform tenant migration activities or, deployed modularly, to drive actions around sharing permissions and Copilot readiness. We work with NHS trusts and enterprise customers, often alongside major partners, and we are growing.

The role

You will be the customer-facing technical consultant on our engagements. That means leading calls and workshops with customer IT teams, running Novalysis reviews and playing findings back in a way that lands with both technical and non-technical audiences, and supporting migration planning and delivery. You will work closely with our CEO and CCO, taking delivery pressure off the founding team and giving customers a consistent, credible point of technical contact. This is a hands-on role in a small company - you will see the whole lifecycle from scoping through to delivery and will have a real voice in how our propositions develop.

What you will do

•  Lead customer calls, workshops and technical sessions single-handedly, including with NHS trust IT teams.

•  Run Novalysis tenant reviews and present findings, decisions and recommended actions to customer stakeholders.

•  Support tenant-to-tenant migration planning and delivery, including discovery, remediation and cutover activities.

•  Contribute technical depth to pre-sales conversations, scoping and proposals alongside the CCO.

•  Produce clear customer-facing documentation - findings packs, remediation plans and migration runbooks.

•  Feed field insight back into the Novalysis roadmap and our productised offers.

What you will bring

•  Deep, current M365 expertise across SharePoint Online, Exchange Online, Teams, Entra ID and Purview.

•  Hands-on tenant-to-tenant migration experience, ideally including migration tooling such as ShareGate, Quest, AvePoint or BitTitan.

•  Confidence in front of customers - you can hold a room, explain a technical position plainly and handle challenge.

•  Sound understanding of identity, security and compliance in M365, including sharing permissions and data governance.

•  The judgement to work independently in a small business, flagging risk early and asking for help at the right moments.

Nice to have

•  NHS or wider public sector experience, including awareness of NHSmail, the nhs.net shared tenant and DSPT.

•  Copilot readiness assessment and adoption experience.

•  Microsoft certifications such as MS-102, SC-300 or equivalent demonstrable expertise.

•  Experience working alongside larger partners or system integrators on shared engagements.

Package and working arrangements

•  £50,000 base salary, negotiable depending on experience.

•  Fully remote within the UK, with periodic travel to customer sites.

•  30 days holiday plus UK public holidays, and NEST pension.

Engagement basis

Our preference is a permanent hire. For the right person currently contracting, we are open to an initial contract engagement with conversion to permanent on terms agreed in writing at the outset, including the conversion point and package. We are clear-eyed about this either way - we are hiring for a long-term role, not a short-term gap.
