CLASS 2 ROAD SWEEPER DRIVER WAKEFIELD


Location:Wakefield
Pay: £16.50 per hour*
Overtime: Paid after 8 hours
Hours: Monday to Friday, with overtime available
Job Type: Temp


We are currently recruiting for Class 2 Road Sweeper Drivers to join our clients team, working across Wakefield and the surrounding areas.
This is a great opportunity for experienced HGV Class 2 drivers looking for ongoing work with excellent earning potential.
Previous road sweeper experience is not essential as full induction and training can/will be provided beforehand.


PAY & HOURS

• £16.50 per hour
  
• Overtime paid after 8 hours
  
• Monday to Friday
  
• Minimum 40 hours per week
  
• Weekend work available subject to customer requirements
  
• Finishing times may vary depending on customer requirements
  

THE ROLE
As a Class 2 Road Sweeper Driver, your responsibilities will include:

• Operating a road sweeper safely and efficiently
  
• Driving defensively and responsibly at all times
  
• Completing daily vehicle checks
  
• Ensuring the vehicle is kept clean and maintained to a high standard
  
• Completing all required paperwork accurately
  
• Following company Health & Safety procedures
  
• Adhering to customer site rules
  
• Wearing all required PPE
  
• Providing a professional and reliable service to customers
  

INDUCTION & TRAINING

Full induction and training will be provided before you begin the role.
Previous road sweeper experience is not necessary, as all training will be provided beforehand.


WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• Valid HGV Class 2 licence
  
• Valid Driver CPC
• Good communication and organisational skills
  
• A flexible approach to work
  
• Strong commitment to Health & Safety
  
• Previous road sweeper experience is not essential
