Job description
About the Role
We are looking for a proactive and people-oriented Operations & Coordination Manager to support our business operations across multiple European offices.
This is a hands-on regional coordination role. You will work closely with our China-based team, local European colleagues and external professional partners to resolve operational issues, improve communication and ensure consistent execution across locations.
The role involves regular travel within Europe and is suitable for someone who enjoys solving problems, working across cultures and turning complex situations into clear actions.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate day-to-day operations across our European offices and follow up on key priorities, risks and outstanding issues.
- Act as a communication bridge between the China-based team and local European teams.
- Support the resolution of operational and people-related matters, including communication gaps, workflow issues and cross-team conflicts.
- Travel to European offices regularly to understand local situations and help resolve issues on site.
- Coordinate with local employees, lawyers, accountants and other external professional partners.
- Track operational progress, customer-related issues and potential business risks.
- Help establish and improve practical working mechanisms, including SOPs, weekly updates, issue logs and review meetings.
- Ensure decisions and action points are followed through to completion.
- Provide clear updates and practical recommendations to management.
What We Are Looking For
- Professional fluency in both English and Mandarin Chinese is required, as the role involves regular communication with teams in China and Europe.
- At least three years of relevant experience in operations, project coordination, office management, business support or a similar role.
- Experience working in a European business environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to handle sensitive or difficult conversations.
- A structured and practical approach to problem-solving.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
- Confidence in coordinating colleagues and external partners without relying solely on formal authority.
- Willingness and availability to travel within Europe approximately once per month, normally for up to one week.
- Valid work authorization for the country in which the position is based.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience coordinating teams, offices or projects across different locations.
- Previous team leadership or people-management experience.
- Experience working with both Chinese and European teams.
- Familiarity with cross-border business services, professional services, e-commerce, tax or regulatory operations is an advantage, but not essential.
Why Join Us
- Work across multiple European markets in a visible regional role.
- Collaborate directly with teams and professional partners across Europe and China.
- Take ownership of real operational challenges and see the impact of your work.
- Help shape more consistent and scalable ways of working across our European operations.
- Join an international business environment with opportunities for growth and broader responsibility.
