Complex Care Assistant

Pay: £14.00 per hour (weekdays) / £14.50 per hour (weekends)

Location: Buckley

Shifts: 8 hour day shifts, Monday–Sunday

Contract: Permanent

About the Role

We are looking for a compassionate and communicative Complex Care Assistant to support a young child who is fully dependent for all aspects of their care 24/7. You will play a vital part in delivering safe, person centred care within a home environment, ensuring comfort, dignity and wellbeing at all times.

What You'll Do

You will support with a wide range of complex care needs, including:

• Repositioning, mobility support and manual handling
• Dual Jejunostomy and Gastrostomy Button feeding and medication administration
• Monitoring skin and tissue viability
• Managing complex epilepsy and dystonia, including rescue medication
• Oxygen therapy, suctioning and saturation monitoring
• Respiratory interventions such as bag and mask, oxygen and stimulation (multiple times per day)
• Following a physiotherapy programme

What You'll Need

To be successful in this role, you should have:

• Experience caring for children with complex needs in a home care setting
• Knowledge of respiratory management (beneficial)
• A calm, patient and child centred approach
• Strong communication skills and reliability
