You will need: To live within a 30-minute drive of the main office in CoalvilleA willingness to learn new skillsAn excellent attitude towards workTo be reliable and flexibleA full UK Driving LicenceTo be willing to undergo a DBS and Enhanced Police CheckThe ability to work independently and as part of a team, supporting other operatives and engineers when requiredTo be able to carry out daily and weekly maintenance checks on vehicles and equipment to ensure everything remains fully operationalWhat you'll be doing: As a Trainee Drainage Engineer, you will be working as part of a two-person team and learning the practical skills required to carry out a range of drainage work.

Your role will include: Operating high-pressure jetting and CCTV surveying equipment as part of a two-person teamAttending drainage-related issues, including emergency callouts for blockages and pipe cleaning as part of regular maintenance programmesCarrying out drain CCTV surveys on both small and large projects to a high standard, using WinCan software for reportingAccurately recording and providing feedback on completed worksDelivering a high standard of customer serviceSalary: £29,250 – £35,000 basic salary, plus on-call bonus, with an average OTE of £40,000 per year.

Hours: Working 45 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with core hours of 7.30am – 4.30pm.Some flexibility will be required around start and finish times. Overtime and weekend work is also available. On-call rota: The on-call rota is currently 1 week in 4, Monday to Friday, although this may change depending on employee numbers.

You will also be required to be on call for either a Saturday or Sunday once every four weeks.

Bank Holidays also need to be covered, with these shared between all engineers.
