Sports Coach – Unqualified Teacher Role (Secondary Schools – Lichfield Area)

Elite Supply Services are looking for enthusiastic and confident Sports Coaches to work as Unqualified Teachers/Cover Supervisors in secondary schools across the Lichfield area.

Role Overview:

• Deliver pre-set lessons and supervise classes in the absence of the regular teacher
• Use your sports background to engage pupils and promote positive behaviour
• Support learning across a range of subjects
• Manage the classroom environment and maintain a safe, productive atmosphere

Requirements:

• Experience working with young people aged 11–16 (e.g., coaching, mentoring, youth work, etc.)
• Confident communication and classroom management skills
• Flexibility and reliability
• An enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)

Elite Supply Services are dedicated to safeguarding children. All successful applicants must hold an enhanced DBS registered on the update service (or be willing to process a new one). Additionally, you will need to be able to provide references to cover the last two years and successfully pass all other clearance safeguarding checks before work can be offered.
