Complex Care Assistant – Nights

Location: Flint

Salary: £15.20 per hour

Shifts: Nights, 22:00–07:00 (Monday–Sunday)

Contract: Permanent

About the Role

We are looking for a compassionate, reliable and communicative Complex Care Assistant to support a young child who is fully dependent for all aspects of their care throughout the night. You will play a vital role in ensuring their comfort, safety and wellbeing, delivering high quality, person centred care in a home environment.

What You'll Do

You will support with a range of complex care needs, including:

• Manual handling
• Gastrostomy feeds and medication administration
• Monitoring skin and tissue viability
• Respiratory support using non invasive ventilation (BiPAP)
• Monitoring oxygen levels and saturations
• Incontinence care, including intermittent catheterisation (daytime routine)

What You'll Need

To be successful in this role, you should have:

• Experience caring for children with complex needs in a home care setting
• Knowledge of respiratory management
• Experience with PEG/Gastrostomy feeding
• Experience with catheterisation (beneficial)
• A warm, patient and child centred approach
