Hygiene Operative / CleanerLocation: Weedon, Northamptonshire, NN7Pay Rate: £12.71 per hourHours: Wednesday to Sunday | 8:00am - 4:30pmBreak: 30 minutes unpaidContract: Temporary | 3 months initially, with potential temp-to-perm opportunityIndustry: Pharmaceutical ManufacturingHygiene Operative / Cleaner Required - Weedon, NN7Quest Employment are currently recruiting for a reliable and proactive Hygiene Operative / Cleaner to join a pharmaceutical manufacturing site based in Weedon, NN7.This is a temporary role for 3 months initially, with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate based on performance, attendance and business requirements.

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness across the site, including offices, reception areas, conference rooms, toilets, washrooms, pantries, kitchen areas and communal spaces. You may also support cleaning within Production, QC and Warehouse areas once fully trained.

This role would suit someone with previous commercial cleaning, industrial cleaning, site cleaning, manufacturing cleaning or facilities cleaning experience.

The RoleAs a Hygiene Operative / Cleaner, your duties may include: Cleaning and maintaining offices, reception and communal areasCleaning conference rooms, meeting rooms, tables, chairs, floors and surfacesHoovering, sweeping and mopping designated areasCleaning stairs, steps, handrails and high-touch areasCleaning accessible windows, internal glass doors and partitionsEmptying bins and disposing of waste correctlyResponding to spills and ad-hoc cleaning requirementsCleaning and sanitising toilets and washrooms regularly throughout the dayReplenishing toilet rolls, hand soap, hand towels and other washroom suppliesCompleting toilet and cleaning check records accuratelyMaintaining pantry and kitchen areasLoading and unloading dishwashersCleaning worktops, sinks, tables, kitchen appliances and fridgesOrganising pantry cupboards and consumablesSupporting Production, QC and Warehouse cleaning when trainedFollowing cleaning schedules, SOPs and site proceduresStoring cleaning chemicals and materials safelyReporting hygiene, maintenance or safety concerns promptlyWhat We're Looking ForWe are looking for candidates who: Have previous cleaning experience, ideally within commercial, industrial, manufacturing or site-cleaning environmentsAre reliable, punctual and hardworkingHave high standards of cleanliness and attention to detailAre comfortable cleaning toilets and washrooms regularlyCan work independently and take ownership of assigned areasAre proactive and can notice what needs cleaning without waiting to be toldAre happy carrying out physically active cleaning duties throughout the dayCan follow written cleaning schedules and proceduresCan complete basic cleaning records accuratelyAre comfortable working in a pharmaceutical or manufacturing environmentAre flexible to support Production, QC and Warehouse cleaning once trainedDesirable ExperienceCOSHH awarenessGMP awarenessPrevious cleaning experience within pharmaceutical, manufacturing, food production, warehouse or industrial environmentsExperience working from cleaning schedules or checklistsWhat's in it for you?£12.71 per hourWednesday to Sunday working pattern8:00am - 4:30pm hours40 hours per week
