Funteron sits at the intersection of sport, media, technology and commercial partnerships. We’re building ITV OddsFinder and developing the next wave of media partnerships.

Funteron Product team is looking for a Senior UI/UX Designer to help strengthen and build up the product design.

You will be working in a fast-paced environment, developing and implementing solutions for betting industry alongside peers and experienced product team members.

This role reports to the Director of Product

Key Responsibilities

The UI/UX Designer will be responsible for the ongoing delivery of UX deliverables for Funteron`s Digital b2b products including new features as well as ongoing improvements, working closely with Product team and Mobile & Front-End Developers to ensure great design quality.

Some of the responsibilities that you may have in your day–to-day work:

• Defining the UX for Funteron`s Product based on working with UCD methodology
• Designing comparison UX patterns (odds tables, bookmaker rankings, filters/sorting by sport, market, odds value)
• Conducting competitive analysis/heuristic reviews to feed into recommendations.
• Delivering UX specifications in various formats depending on project needs with a strong emphasis on responsive design.
• High-Level definition of process flows — defining user roles, goals and tasks.
• Hands-on UX Design deliverables, including UI designs, sitemaps, user journeys, scenarios, task flows and wireframe production.
• Produce and maintains prototypes.
• Work on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors.
• Providing input into user research activities.
• Help evolve guidelines.
• Deliver presentations to Product Managers, Developers and Business Stakeholders, clearly articulating the rationale behind design decisions.

Qualifications

If you are the right candidate for us, you will be able to demonstrate:

• A Technical background — BSc or equivalent in Design or a couple of years of e-commerce/online/sports betting/mobile app experience in an alternative role
• Demonstrable experience with Wireframing + Design (Figma) and Prototyping
• Experience designing for data-dense, real-time-updating interfaces (odds tables, live scores)
• Ability to create documentation that clearly communicates all elements, states, and views of the interface
• Experienced in responsive (cross-channel) design needs
• Experience with Design Systems
• Understanding and implementing web standards and best practices
• An understanding of web and mobile technologies
• Familiarity with regulatory/compliance constraints in gambling advertising
• Excellent communication and presentation skills in English
