A temporary opportunity is available for an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver to support daytime delivery and transport operations in Bowburn.

The role

As an HGV Class 2 Driver, your responsibilities will include:

• Driving an HGV Class 2 vehicle safely and responsibly
• Completing local and regional deliveries
• Carrying out vehicle checks before and after each journey
• Loading, securing and unloading goods safely
• Completing delivery paperwork and maintaining accurate records
• Providing professional service at delivery locations
• Following legal, company and health and safety requirements
• Reporting any vehicle, delivery or customer issues promptly

Skills and qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 2 driving entitlement
• Relevant driver documentation, including CPC and tachograph records where required
• Previous commercial driving experience
• Good knowledge of road safety and vehicle checks
• xohmjla Ability to load, secure and handle goods safely
• Reliable, punctual and organised approach
• Professional communication skills
• Ability to work independently and manage delivery schedules
