Overview: Essential Skills Tutor

We are currently seeking an experienced Essential Skills / Functional Skills Tutor to deliver and coordinate the successful completion of Essential Skills qualifications, for an award-winning training provider.

Working with learners on Essential Skills Maths, English and IT, this opportunity offers autonomy to plan, deliver and support our apprenticeship learners.

This role is home based with learners located across North Wales.

Salary/benefits: Essential Skills Tutor

• Salary £27.5K starting salary

Purpose of the role: Essential Skills Tutor

To lead the planning, delivery and assessment of English and Maths to individuals and groups of learners.

Qualifications/competencies: Essential Skills Tutor

• Experience of delivering Essential Skills or Functional Skills in a previous role
• Good IT and communication skills
• Excellent attention to detail / Time management skills
• Passion for people development
• Full UK Driving license and use of own car
• Subject to an enhanced DBS check
