SEND Teaching Assistant | Brentwood | September 2026Are you a recent graduate looking to gain hands-on school experience before pursuing a career in teaching, educational psychology, speech and language therapy or child psychology?

We are seeking an enthusiastic and resilient graduate to join a welcoming Primary School in Brentwood as a SEND Teaching Assistant from September, supporting children with a range of additional needs including autism, ADHD and SEMH. Trial days are taking place ASAP.About this SEND Teaching Assistant roleGain valuable school-based experience supporting pupils with a range of additional needs including Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), ADHD and SEMH.Work closely with experienced SEND professionals, including Educational Psychologists, Speech and Language Therapists and SENDCOs.

Provide 1:1 and small group support across the primary school setting.

Support pupils both academically and socially, helping them to develop confidence, independence and positive relationships.

Excellent opportunity for graduates considering careers in education, psychology, therapy or social care.

We are looking for graduates whoHave achieved, or are on track to achieve, a 2:1 or First-Class degree in a relevant subject .Have experience working with children or young people through tutoring, mentoring, youth work, coaching, care or voluntary work.

Are patient, proactive and passionate about supporting children with additional needs.

Want to build long-term experience within a primary school environment. Can commit full-time from September and are available to trial immediately.
