Class 1 Tramper Driver – Tewkesbury

Location: Tewkesbury, Gloucestershire
Start Date: October 2026
Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time
Pay: £900–£1,200 per week

We are looking for experienced and reliable Class 1 (HGV C+E) Tramper Drivers to join our growing operation based in Tewkesbury on a permanent basis.

The Role

As a Class 1 Tramper Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and professional delivery of goods throughout the UK.

The role will involve:

• Tramping and overnight stays in the cab
• Long-distance UK deliveries
• Completing vehicle checks and ensuring the vehicle is roadworthy
• Loading and securing loads where required
• Completing delivery paperwork and digital records accurately
• Maintaining excellent customer service
• Working safely and in accordance with drivers' hours and tachograph regulations

Requirements

You will need:

• A valid Class 1 / C+E licence
• Valid Driver CPC
• Digital tachograph card
• Previous Class 1 driving experience
• Previous tramping experience preferred
• A good understanding of drivers' hours and WTD regulations
• A professional attitude and good communication skills
• A reliable and responsible approach to work

Newly qualified Class 1 drivers with suitable experience may also be considered.

Location

The position is based in Tewkesbury, with deliveries and collections up to Southampton and across the UK.

Start Date

October 2026 onwards
