Job Title: HGV Class 1 Driver- Collections (max 10 per day) of a mix of handball and pallet collections - Shunting also availableLocation: MiddletonPay Rate: £18.33 to £27.50 per hourBonus: £150 sign up bonus (payable after 12 weeks)Shifts: Various shifts available - Monday to FridayDriver Type: Class 1 (C+E)Experience: 12 months commercial driving = essentialIgnition Driver Recruitment are looking for reliable, experienced HGV Class 1 Drivers to join our team in Middleton to work with our client who are one of the UK's largest parcel distribution companies.

Development: Full site inductionShifts: Regular, ongoing shiftsHGV Class 1 Driver - The role & responsibilities: Driving a Class 1 vehicleCollections (handball and pallet)Standard route paperworkPre & post route vehicle checksAbout you: You will have your Class 1 Driving Licence and at least 12 months experience in commercial driving. You must also have your UK DCPC card and a valid Digi-tacho card. Our client may accept up to 6 points on your licence, but we can not accept DD, TT, DR, CD, IN endorsements. As a professional driver, you will have a good knowledge of the Working Time Directive and be able to manage your hours accordingly.

You will be a UK resident (we are unable to assist people with VISAs) and will be able to travel to and from the site for your shift.
