Class 2 Flatbed DriverLocation: Colnbrook / HeathrowSalary: £38,000 per annum to startHours: Monday to Friday, 07:30 startsContract: PermanentPertemps Heathrow are currently recruiting for an experienced Class 2 (Cat C) Flatbed Driver to join a well-established logistics and equipment hire operation based in Colnbrook, with regular deliveries into Heathrow Airport.

This is a fantastic permanent opportunity for a professional Class 2 driver looking for a stable Monday to Friday role, with the opportunity to increase their earning potential once they have obtained the necessary airside pass.

The RoleYou will be responsible for the safe and timely transportation of a range of equipment, small tools and plant hire from the company's Colnbrook depot to various locations across Heathrow Airport.

Duties will include: Driving a Class 2 flatbed vehicleDelivering and collecting equipment, tools and plant hireRegular deliveries into Heathrow Airport and airside environmentsLoading, securing and unloading equipment safelyCarrying out vehicle checks and reporting any defectsEnsuring all loads are correctly secured and transported safelyFollowing all site, airport and company safety proceduresRequirementsA valid Class 2 (C) driving licencePrevious Class 2 driving experience5 years' continuous UK work history / vetting history to meet airside security requirementsThe ability to successfully complete the required 5 year vetting processGood geographical knowledge of the Heathrow and surrounding areas is advantageousThe physical ability to assist with the loading/unloading of equipment and toolsSalary & Progression£38,000 starting salarySalary increase available once the required airside pass has been obtainedPermanent positionMonday-Friday working pattern07:30 startsStable, long-term employment opportunityPlease note: Due to the nature of the role and the requirement to work within an airport environment, 5 years' vetting is mandatory.
