The Opportunity

We are currently seeking a Consultant Breast Radiologist to support a service within the East of England.

This opportunity offers a short-term locum contract within a hospital setting, providing an excellent opportunity for an experienced Consultant Radiologist with a specialist interest in Breast Imaging. You will work alongside established multidisciplinary teams, supporting breast radiology services and contributing to the delivery of high-quality patient care.

What You'll Be Doing

• Deliver high-quality breast imaging and diagnostic radiology services.
• Support breast screening, assessment, and symptomatic breast clinics as required.
• Interpret imaging studies accurately and provide timely clinical reports.
• Work collaboratively with surgeons, oncologists, radiographers, specialist nurses, and the wider multidisciplinary team.
• Maintain accurate and comprehensive patient records in line with NHS standards.
• Participate in clinical governance and quality assurance processes.
• Ensure safe, effective, and patient-centred care at all times.

What We're Looking For

• Active GMC registration with a licence to practise.
• Inclusion on the GMC Specialist Register for Radiology (or eligibility where applicable).
• Relevant recent UK NHS experience within Breast Radiology.
• Strong diagnostic and reporting skills.
• Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team.
• Excellent communication and professional standards.
• Valid Right to Work in the UK (please note we do not offer visa sponsorship).
