Job description

Rapier Employmentare looking for Class 1 drivers to support our well-known client based in Swindon. These positions are temp to perm for the right candidate.

** Must have held licence for 6 months minimum (category C+E) **

Position:Class 1 Driver - temporary to permanent positions available

Shifts & hours:

• Thursday to Monday: 12:00 - 15:00 starts
• Friday to Tuesday: 12:00 - 15:00 starts

Pay rates below:
Days: £20.45 per hour
Nights: £21.57 per hour
Overtime: £25.56 per hour
Weekend: £26.97 - £29.57 per hour

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

• Transporting goods between various locations efficiently and in a timely manner.
• Deliveries from Swindon will be across the South Coast of England up to the Midlands.
• Drivers will mostly cover trunking, some store overflow deliveries may be required.
• Conduct pre-trip and post trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure road worthiness and report any maintenance or mechanical issues.
• Always provide exceptional customer service.

Requirements:

• Full UK Licence (Cat C+E)
• CPC Card
• Digi Card
• Held licence for 6 months minimum (Cat C+E)
