Here at GXO Logistics, we're looking for full-time, permanent HGV Class 1 Drivers to join our growing team in Thrapston, working in partnership with one of the UK's most recognisable retail brands, Primark.

Working Friday to Tuesday, you'll benefit from a consistent shift pattern with start times operating in 2-hour window between 16:00 and 21:00 (for example, 16:00-18:00, 17:00-19:00, through to 19:00-21:00). You'll enjoy excellent support, long-term stability, job security and great earning potential.

Pay, benefits and more:

• Basic hourly rate of £17.44 per hour
• Additional 10% premium (£1.53) for hours worked between 16:00 and 21:59
• Additional 20% premium (£3.07) for hours worked between 22:00 and 05:59
• Additional 30% premium (£4.60) for all hours worked on Saturday and Sunday
• Overtime paid at time and a half rateafter 45 hours per week or for an extra shift per week

What you will do on a typical day:

• Take the wheel of Class 1 vehicles, delivering retail stock to stores and helping keep one of the UK's best-known retail supply chains moving
• Complete up to 3 deliveries per shift, transporting predominantly palletised loads while enjoying well-planned routes and a varied day on the road
• Play a key role in ensuring products arrive safely and on time, assisting with the unloading process at delivery points and providing excellent service at every stop
• Take ownership of the full delivery cycle, including returning empty pallets, recyclable materials and store returns back to the RRU, while operating safely, legally and professionally at all times

What you need to succeed at GXO:

• Full UK driving licence with category C+E entitlement
• Valid Driver Qualification and Digital Tachograph Cards
• No more than 6 penalty points
• No DR, DG, DD, BA, CD, AC, LC or TT99 endorsements within the previous 5 years
• Previous experience driving category C+E vehicles is desirable
