The Role

As a HGV Class 1 Driver, you'll be responsible for delivering cages and totes to stores. You will be assisted with a drivers mate to help assist with cages to the stores. There are also opportunities to trunk as well as doing store work! So you may get a good varied range of work throughout the week. It's a 7 day working operation so rota here are flexible and you can choose a rota to fit your home and lifestyle!

Flexible working rota's/Shift patterns you can choose from:

• 5 days on including Sat & Sun (2 consecutive days off)
• 4 on 4 off
• 4 on 3 off
• Week 1: Mon-Fri, Week 2 Tues-Sat
• Part time (few days a week)
• Free on-site parking
• Subsidised canteen
• Shift Times: Start windows including: 1400-1800, 1800-2200 & 2200-0200. (Flexible night windows)
• Hours: typically 10–12 hours each and there are some double manned routes 15hrs plus

What We're Looking For:

• Valid HGV Class 1 (CE) licence (Must have held licence for 2 years)
• Valid CPC and digital tachograph card
• Maximum 6 penalty points (SP/TS offences only)
• Strong knowledge of Drivers' Hours and WTD regulations
• Reliable, professional and safety conscious
