Engagement: Contract / Day Rate

SA Scaffolding is seeking an experienced Scaffolding Supervisor to ensure operational performance and efficiency across approximately 10 active residential build sites. The candidate should be someone open to learning from our current operations managers.

This is a focused assignment with a clear objective:

Identify the root causes of low labour productivity (LM output), implement practical improvements and ensure on site documentation is up to scratch.

The Assignment

Looking to make an immediate impact, you will:

• Visit live residential sites regularly
• Assess linear metre (LM) output vs programme expectations
• Review gang structure, labour deployment, and sequencing
• Identify bottlenecks in logistics, materials, or coordination
• Challenge underperformance constructively
• Provide clear, commercially grounded recommendations
• Implement short-term improvements where possible

This role requires a visible on-site presence and direct engagement with scaffolders, supervisors, and site management.

What We’re Looking For

• CISRS Advanced Scaffolder (minimum)
• Understanding of H&S, RAMs and other relevant site requirements
• Strong supervisory or contracts management experience
• Residential housebuilder experience preferred
• Commercial awareness — understands revenue vs wages
• Confident managing conversations around performance
• Practical, solution-oriented mindset

This is not a reporting-only role. We are looking for someone who can quickly diagnose issues and drive measurable improvement.
