Technical Designer & Draughtsperson

Xquisite Productions create exhibition stands, live events, product launches, bespoke vehicles, large volume retail displays, and immersive experiences. Key responsibilities

· Proficient in Adobe Suite, Fusion, Vectorworks and SketchUp (other drawing packages are advantageous)

· Calculating dimensions, weight limitations, and measurements for designs

· Producing 2D and 3D CAD outputs, which will be fully annotated and workshop ready

· Creating diagrams and layouts to illustrate the workflow of designs

· Ensuring all projects are built to the required production specification

· Regular communication and meetings with other departments, especially the account management team and heads of departments in the workshop

· Working to very specific deadlines and milestones

· Ensuring designs comply with company regulations and quality standards

· Identifying areas for improvement and efficiencies in relation to your business area

Schedule – Monday to Friday - 9am - 5.30pm (with some hybrid flexibility)

Job Type - Permanent (open to Freelancers to join our interim work pool)

Ability to commute/relocate – Merstham, Surrey RH1 3LG

The Candidate

We are seeking a candidate who already possesses a strong skill set in technical drawings and draughtsmanship. Understanding of terminology, materials and processes in the events/construction industry is a must in this role. A demonstrated ability to perform under pressure, with an ambitious, can-do attitude and meticulous attention to detail will suit this candidate perfectly.

Salary from circa £30K, but can vary dependent on experience. If you think you fit the bill, we’d love to hear about the value you could bring.
