Graduate Laboratory Production Technician

£22,000k

30 hours per week – rotating shifts

Driving licence required.

We are recruiting a Graduate Laboratory Production Technician to join an established animal healthcare manufacturing team. This hands-on opportunity would suit either a recent science graduate or someone with production experience who is comfortable working at technician level.

The role:

  • Carry out manufacturing and packaging operations in accordance with SOPs.
  • Work to GMP, quality, hygiene and health and safety standards.
  • Complete in-process checks, environmental monitoring and batch documentation.
  • Operate production equipment and perform basic maintenance and changeovers.
  • Report deviations, safety concerns and mechanical issues promptly.
  • Support process improvements and wider departmental projects.
  • Maintain accurate records and a safe, organised working environment.

About you:

  • A science-related degree is preferred but not essential.
  • Manufacturing, production or laboratory experience would be advantageous.
  • Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach.
  • Comfortable following regulated procedures and completing documentation.
  • A proactive and collaborative team player.

Shift pattern:

The role operates on a rotating three-week pattern:

  • Monday–Wednesday, 7:30am–6:00pm
  • Seven days off
  • Thursday–Saturday, 7:30am–6:00pm
  • Sunday off
  • Monday–Wednesday, 7:30am–6:00pm

Due to the site's location and working hours, applicants must have their own transport.
