Beeches Medical Centre is seeking an enthusiastic, motivated and patient-focused Salaried GP to join our friendly and supportive team for two sessions per week. We are a small, established GP practice situated in the village of Longton, Preston, caring for approximately 2,100 patients. As a smaller practice, we pride ourselves on providing personalised care, maintaining continuity and building strong relationships with our patients. This is an excellent opportunity for a GP seeking a regular part-time position within a close-knit practice where continuity of care is valued. For those interested in a longer-term commitment, there may be an opportunity to explore future partnership.

The Role

The successful candidate will provide high-quality, patient-centred general medical services, working collaboratively with our existing clinical and administrative team.

• Undertaking face-to-face and telephone consultations.
• Assessing, diagnosing and managing acute and chronic conditions.
• Prescribing safely and appropriately.
• Reviewing investigation results and clinical correspondence.
• Making referrals where clinically indicated.
• Maintaining accurate and timely clinical records.
• Contributing to the management of long-term conditions.
• An interest in women's health, including menopause care, contraception and supporting patients with sensitive health concerns, would be particularly welcomed.

About You

We are looking for a GP who:

• Holds full GMC registration with a licence to practise.
• Is included on the NHS England Medical Performers List.
• Has the legal right to work in the UK.
• Has a patient-centred approach to general practice.
• Demonstrates excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Works effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Is committed to delivering safe, high-quality clinical care.
• Experience using EMIS Web would be advantageous but is not essential.
