General Practitioner

Job description

In this General Practitioner role, you will communicate effectively with patients and carers.

Your working hours will fall between 08:00-18:00h from Monday to Friday.

What you'll work on

• Supervise, advise and mentor Nurse Practitioners, Paramedic Practitioners, Practice Nurses, Healthcare Assistants, Phlebotomists, GP Registrars and medical students
• Communicate effectively with patients and carers

What you'll bring

• Applicants must have current UK professional registration
• Fully qualified GP with GMC registration
• You’ll need experience of working with System One, clinical computer system
• We will provide you with a named GP Partner mentor who will provide support with more complex cases and processes as required
• Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with multi-disciplinary teams
• UK work permit if required or eligible as an applicant through the Tier 2 sponsorship scheme
• Ability to supervise junior staff, GP registrars and medical students
• UK driving licence
• Enhanced DBS check
• Current CPR certificate

• Hours: Pay scales and working hours are negotiated based upon skills and experience
