Bar Staff - Luxury Beach Club in Greece - Immediate Start!

Seasonal Contract | Immediate Start – Early November 2026 | Zakynthos, Greece

About The Peligoni Club

The Peligoni Club is a family-run members’ club on the beautiful island of Zakynthos, Greece. Food and drink are central to the guest experience, with a collection of restaurants and service areas that each bring something different to the atmosphere of the club.

Across the week, we also host a lively calendar of events, including open-fire feasts, food festival nights, guest chef dinners, live music and private celebrations – all of which rely on warm, polished and confident service.

About the Role

We are looking for energetic, enthusiastic and guest-focused Bar Staff to join us for the remainder of the 2026 season. You will help deliver an exceptional drinks experience across our bars, restaurants and weekly events, while creating the warm, relaxed atmosphere The Peligoni Club is known for.

This is a fast-paced, hands-on role. One shift could involve making coffees and smoothies in the morning, while another may see you preparing cocktails, serving sundowners overlooking the water or supporting one of our lively outdoor events. You will need to be confident behind the bar, comfortable engaging with guests and happy to support other food and beverage areas when needed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Welcome guests warmly and ensure they are well looked after.
  • Prepare and serve a wide range of drinks, including cocktails, wine, spirits, coffee, fresh juices and smoothies.
  • Dispense drinks efficiently, consistently and to Peligoni standards.
  • Provide table service when required and maintain high standards throughout each shift.
  • Offer confident guidance and recommendations from the drinks menu.
  • Use EPOS systems accurately, prepare bills and handle payments confidently.
  • Restock and replenish bar supplies throughout service.
  • Collect and clean glasses and keep guest-facing areas tidy and welcoming.
  • Maintain excellent hygiene, cleanliness and organisation across all front- and back-of-house bar areas.
  • Support restaurant teams during meal service and assist other food and beverage areas when required.
  • Support weekly club events, from family feasts and food festivals to weddings and guest chef evenings.
  • Build friendly, genuine relationships with guests and talk confidently about the club and what is on offer.
  • Take on additional duties to support the smooth running of the club.

About You

You will be someone who is:

  • Experienced in a busy bar or similar hospitality environment.
  • Outgoing, friendly and confident with guests.
  • Knowledgeable and enthusiastic about wines, spirits and cocktails.
  • Calm, professional and efficient under pressure.
  • Highly organised, proactive and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • A strong communicator who enjoys working as part of a close team.
  • Flexible, adaptable and willing to support other food and beverage areas when needed.
  • Passionate about providing warm, genuine service and creating a lively but relaxed atmosphere.

Essential Requirements

  • At least two years’ experience working in a busy bar environment.
  • Strong knowledge of wines, spirits and cocktails, with proven cocktail-making experience.
  • Previous experience using EPOS till systems and handling payments.
  • Barista experience and WSET Level 2 or 3 are desirable.
  • Basic Food Hygiene Certificate, or willingness to obtain one before starting.
  • EU passport holder and available to start immediately and remain with us until early November 2026.

Why Join Us As part of our Bar Team, you will enjoy a lively and sociable role in a stunning Greek island setting. You will serve everything from morning coffees and fresh smoothies to cocktails and relaxed sundowners, while becoming part of a warm, supportive team during the final and lively months of our season.
