What are you going to do:
We are looking for a kind and confident nanny to connect with our children - a boy age 11 and a girl age 7. Our son is spirited, determined, bright and curious with a love of football, Lego and board games. Our daughter is very bubbly, strong-willed and outgoing and loves to play with dolls, Sylvanians and Polly Pockets.
Our son is diagnosed with ADHD, dyslexia and dysgraphia, whilst our daugher is as yet undiagnosed. They both attend a mainstream school with significant support from a SEN centre/ teacher.
This is a shared care role together with me, a very hands-on mum. Our children can push boundaries therefore we are looking for a nanny who is experienced and confident managing behaviours day-to-day and can effectively de-escalate. Key aspects of the role are supporting the children with self-regulation, encouraging a caring relationship and independence. It is absolutely essential to have a passion for play and having fun! We have a cat and hamster.
The role would suit someone happy, motivated, caring and organised, who loves to play! You should be proactive at managing both childcare and household duties, as well as a confident cook. Non-smoker, driver not essential.
