Lead and Build Gravitas' Contract Data Division

At Gravitas Recruitment Group, we're looking for a Data Contract Team Leader to join our London office and play a pivotal role in scaling our Contract Data practice.

This is a unique opportunity to combine personal billing success with leadership responsibility, leveraging over 16 years of established technology client relationships while helping shape the future direction of our Data division.

The Opportunity

The demand for contract talent across Data, Analytics, AI, Machine Learning, and Data Engineering continues to grow rapidly.

Our technology teams have built long-standing relationships with hundreds of technology businesses across the UK, many of whom are actively investing in contract data talent. You'll have immediate access to established client accounts, existing opportunities, and the support of a highly respected technology recruitment brand.

As Team Leader, you'll be responsible for growing your own contract desk while developing and mentoring recruiters around you, helping create one of Gravitas' key growth areas over the coming years.

This is an ideal opportunity for either:

• An experienced Contract Data recruiter ready to step into leadership
• An existing Team Leader looking for greater autonomy and growth potential
• A high-performing contract recruiter looking to build and shape a team

What You'll Be Doing

• Leading the growth of Gravitas' Contract Data division
• Building and developing a team of high-performing recruiters
• Coaching, mentoring, and driving performance across the team
• Growing your own successful contract billing desk
• Leveraging existing client relationships to create new opportunities
• Recruiting across:
  • Data Engineering
  • Data Analytics
  • Data Science
  • Machine Learning
  • AI
  • Business Intelligence
  • Data Architecture
• Building relationships with hiring managers, procurement teams, and technology leaders
• Expanding existing accounts and winning new business
• Representing Gravitas at networking events, client meetings, and industry conferences
• Helping shape the long-term strategy and direction of our Data practice

What We're Looking For

• A proven track record in contract recruitment, ideally within Technology or Data
• Experience leading, mentoring, or developing recruiters
• Strong business development and account growth capability
• Commercially driven with a desire to build something significant
• Strong stakeholder management and networking skills
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for developing people
