Level 3 EYFS Teaching Assistant - Make a Difference in Early Years

We are working with a welcoming educational setting in Berkhamsted that is looking for a dedicated Level 3 EYFS Teaching Assistant to join their team.

This is a fantastic opportunity in Berkhamsted for someone who wants more than just a classroom role. You'll be helping children build confidence, develop independence and take those important first steps in their education.

What You'll Be Doing

As a Level 3 EYFS Teaching Assistant you'll be involved in:

• Supporting children's learning and development through engaging EYFS activities
• Helping deliver creative, practical and stimulating learning experiences
• Supporting children on a one-to-one and small-group basis
• Encouraging communication, confidence and independence in the education and training environment
• Supporting children's social and emotional development
• Helping children develop positive relationships with their peers
• Assisting with personal care and daily routines when required
• Creating a calm, inclusive and positive classroom environment
• Building strong relationships with children and staff
• Supporting teachers with the smooth running of the classroom
• Helping every child achieve their individual potential

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who is:

• Level 3 qualified in Supporting Teaching & Learning, Education, Childcare or a related area
• Or holds a relevant Level 2 qualification with appropriate experience
• Experienced working with children in an educational or Early Years environment
• Passionate about Early Years and children's development
• Warm, caring, patient and enthusiastic
• Confident supporting young children with different needs
• Reliable, professional and committed for growth in the education and training sector
• A positive team player
• Excellent at building relationships with children and colleagues
• Able to travel to Berkhamsted
