Class 1 HGV Driver – Monday to Friday

Location: Leicester / LE19

Pay: £17.69 per hour + shift premiums

Hours: Monday to Friday

Start Times: Between 1:00am and 6:00am

Job Type: Temporary ongoing

Are you an experienced Class 1 HGV Driver looking for regular Monday-to-Friday work?

We are currently recruiting for Class 1 Drivers to support a busy transport operation during the upcoming peak period, with ongoing opportunities available for reliable and experienced drivers.

The Role

You will be responsible for completing deliveries to retail stores, with routes typically involving 1, 2 or 3 drops per day, depending on daily volumes.

Start times will vary between 1:00am and 6:00am, with typical finishes between 1:00pm and 4:00pm.

There may also be occasional opportunities involving nights out.

Pay & Benefits

• £17.69 per hour basic rate
• 20% shift premium for hours worked between 10:00pm and 6:00am
• 10% shift premium for hours worked between 4:00pm and 10:00pm
• Monday to Friday working
• Regular ongoing work
• Opportunity to work during a busy peak period

About YouYou will need:

• A valid Class 1 (C+E) licence
• Previous Class 1 driving experience
• Good knowledge of UK roads
• A professional and reliable approach
• Good communication skills
• A flexible approach to start times and routes
• The ability to complete deliveries safely and efficiently
