School Catering Assistant

Job description

Our client, an Educational Establishment based in Gravesend, are seeking to recruit a Temporary Catering Assistant.
Starting on 2 nd November 2026
Hours: 10am – 2pm Monday to Friday
Enhanced DBS Certificate, Food Safety Certificate and must have completed Allergen Course is essential .
Key Duties:
Assisting with basic food preparation activities, including washing, peeling and cutting vegetables
Cleaning and sanitising crockery/cutlery
Setting up dining areas by arranging chairs and tables
Loading and unloading industrial dishwashers
Cleaning/sanitising surfaces before and after service
Please note: a current enhanced DBS Certificate is essential for these roles.
