Female Complex Care Assistant – Chesterfield
FULLY FUNDED DBS
£14.57 per hour, inclusive of holiday pay

This vacancy is open to female applicants only. This is a Genuine Occupational Requirement under Schedule 9, Part 1 of the Equality Act 2010, due to the specific care needs of the client.
About us
Routes Healthcare is a specialist complex care provider, not an agency. We deliver one-to-one support to people with complex health needs in their own homes.
The role
You'll provide 1:1 support to a female client with complex needs, including PEG feeding, epilepsy, non-verbal communication and wheelchair use. She has a great sense of humour, loves music and has a bubbly personality.
You'll be:
Providing personal care with dignity and respect
Supporting PEG feeding and epilepsy care (full training provided)
Supporting communication and engagement
Helping with mobility and daily living
Driving her to appointments and activities in your own vehicle
Following her care plan and keeping accurate records
Shifts
Evenings: 4pm–10pm
Nights: 9pm–9am

What you need
The right to work in the UK (no sponsorship available)
At least 6 months' paid care experience in the UK
Comfort providing personal care
A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
