Trade Plate Driver – Upper Heyford
Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour, increasing to £12.86 after 12 weeks
Job Type: Temporary to Permanent
Working Pattern: Monday to Friday, 8–12 hour shifts

We are recruiting Trade Plate Drivers for a well-established vehicle logistics company based in Upper Heyford. This is an ongoing, temp-to-perm opportunity for drivers who enjoy being behind the wheel, want consistent weekday work and are looking for the opportunity to secure a permanent position.
You'll be driving a wide variety of high-value vehicles across the UK, delivering them to customers and enjoying the variety that comes with working in vehicle logistics. If you're a car enthusiast who takes pride in their driving and presentation, this could be the role for you.
Pay starts at £12.71 per hour, increasing to £12.86 after 12 weeks. Expenses are reimbursed within 24 hours, helping you manage the costs associated with travelling for work.
Concerned about getting to the site? Public transport isn't always essential, as lift-sharing arrangements may be available with drivers travelling to collect other team members.

Your Responsibilities

• Safely driving and delivering high-value vehicles to destinations across the UK.
• Delivering vehicles to customers in line with agreed schedules.
• Completing vehicle checks and reporting any damage or issues.
• Maintaining accurate delivery records and obtaining the necessary proof of delivery.
• Communicating effectively with colleagues to support efficient vehicle movements.
• Providing a professional and courteous service when dealing with customers.
• Maintaining a smart, business-like appearance when representing the company.

What We're Looking For

• A full UK driving licence held for at least 12 months.
• No more than 5 penalty points on your licence.
• A responsible and safety-conscious approach to driving.
• Good communication and organisational skills.
• A professional attitude and smart appearance.
• The ability to work independently and manage your time effectively.
