CareerMakers Recruitment are currently recruiting Class 2 Road Sweeper Drivers for an ongoing position in Worsley.
No road sweeping experience? No problem — full paid training is provided!
This is an excellent opportunity for experienced Class 2 drivers looking for stable, Monday to Friday work with 50+ hours available every week.

Position: Class 2 Road Sweeper Driver
Pay: £14.50 per hour
Holiday Pay Rate: £16.25 per hour
Hours: 50+ hours per week
Start Time: 06:00
Days: Monday to Friday
Training: 1 week of fully paid training
Tacho: Tacho exempt – no Digital Tachograph Card required
The Role
You will be operating a left-hand drive road sweeper , working across public roads, building sites and housing estates.
The role involves:
Operating the road sweeper safely and efficiently
Sweeping public roads, building sites and housing estates
Carrying out daily vehicle checks
Following assigned routes and instructions
Working safely in line with site and road regulations
There is no handballing or heavy manual handling involved.
Full Training Provided
Never driven a road sweeper before? That's fine.
We provide one full week of paid training to teach you everything you need to know about operating the vehicle.
All we require is previous Class 2 driving experience and the right attitude.
Requirements
Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence
Minimum 1 year Class 2 driving experience
Valid Driver CPC
No Digital Tachograph Card required – tacho exempt role
Maximum 6 penalty points
No major endorsements
Reliable and punctual
Positive attitude and willing to learn
