Location: Willenhall, West Midlands
Pay: £15.00 to £16.00 per hour

An opportunity is available for an HGV Class 2 Driver to support steel deliveries from a Willenhall-based operation. This permanent daytime role would suit a reliable and safety-conscious driver who is confident handling deliveries and working around steel materials.

Key responsibilities

• Complete scheduled steel deliveries safely and efficiently
• Load, secure and unload steel materials in line with safety procedures
• Carry out vehicle checks and report any defects promptly
• Complete delivery paperwork accurately
• Provide professional customer service at delivery locations
• Follow driving, site and manual-handling requirements

Skills and qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 2 licence
• Driver CPC and tachograph card
• Previous experience with steel deliveries or similar heavy goods work
• Good knowledge of road safety and delivery procedures
• Ability to safely handle and secure heavy or awkward loads
• Reliable, punctual and organised approach
• Clear communication skills and a professional manner
