HGV Class 1 Driver – Burton
People Solutions are currently recruiting for an HGV Class 1 Driver to join our well-established client based in Burton .
This is a fantastic opportunity offering excellent rates of pay, no handball work, paid breaks, ongoing work and genuine opportunities for long-term employment .
This role would suit candidates with experience as an HGV Class 1 Driver, LGV Class 1 Driver, Category CE Driver, Articulated Lorry Driver or Class 1 Delivery Driver .
ONGOING WORK

• IMMEDIATE STARTS
• UP TO £24.25 PER HOUR
• NO HANDBALL
• PAID BREAKS
• TRAMPING AVAILABLE Shifts
• Monday to Friday
• Regular weekend overtime available
• Long shifts available to maximise earnings
• Tramping work available if required

Rates of Pay
Days

• £22.25 per hour Nights
• £24.25 per hour Benefits As an HGV Class 1 Driver, you will receive:

Day-to-Day Duties
As an HGV Class 1 Driver, your duties will include:

• Completing vehicle checks before and after each shift
• Ensuring loads are secure and compliant
• Following delivery schedules and routes efficiently
• Adhering to all road traffic legislation and company procedures

Essential Skills
To be successful as an HGV Class 1 Driver, you will need:

• Valid UK Category CE (Class 1) Driving Licence
• Minimum 12 months' Class 1 driving experience
• Valid CPC Card and Digital Tachograph Card
• No more than six penalty points for minor offences

Desirable Experience
• Curtain-sider experience
Training Provided

• Driver assessment required prior to start
• One-day paid induction
• Ongoing support and development
