Reach Truck Driver - Swindon
People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Reach Truck Driver to join our well-established client based in Swindon . This is a fantastic opportunity offering excellent rates of pay, ongoing work, and genuine opportunities to develop your skills within a busy warehouse environment.
This would suit applicants who have worked as a Forklift Truck Driver, FLT Operator or Reach Truck Driver.
Rates of Pay:
£13.00 per hour
Shift Pattern:
Monday to Friday
05:30 - 14:00

Day-to-Day Duties:
Your duties as a Reach Truck Driver are:
Operating a Reach Truck safely and efficiently throughout the warehouse
Packing finished furniture safely and securely
Preparing completed furniture for storage and dispatch
Moving packed furniture around the warehouse using a Reach Truck
Placing packed furniture into warehouse racking locations
Ensuring stock is stored safely and in the correct location
Carrying out visual quality and damage checks on products
Following all manual handling and health and safety procedures
Assisting with general warehouse duties when required
Maintaining a clean and organised working environment
Essential Skills:
To be successful as a Reach Truck Driver , you will need:
A valid Reach Truck licence
Previous Reach Truck operating experience
Previous warehouse or packing experience
The ability to safely handle and move furniture
Good communication skills
Good attention to detail
The ability to work independently and as part of a team
A positive and reliable approach to work
Desirable Experience:
Previous furniture packing experience
Experience working within a warehouse environment
Previous experience moving large or bulky items
Experience with stock movement and storage
Previous manual handling experience
Training:
Site-specific induction and training provided
Ongoing support throughout your assignment
Training on company procedures and warehouse processes
